Goatacre Manor Care Centre is a comprehensively equipped Private Nursing Home that is registered under the terms of the Care Standards Act 2000 with the Commission for Social Care Inspectorate and is a member of the Registered Nursing Home Association.

Accommodation

Goatacre Manor Care Centre is registered to provide Nursing care for forty-two male or female Residents over the age of 65, but may also provide care for up to three people aged 18 – 65 with physical disabilities and up to 3 people requiring terminal care, within the overall number.
The Home has thirty-five well appointed rooms of which twenty-eight single rooms exceed 12 sq m and seven shared rooms that exceed 16 sq m.
The Home also benefits from extensive and well-stocked gardens with picturesque views of the local Wiltshire downlands. Residents can enjoy the assisted use of the gardens at any time subject to weather conditions.

Facilities

As well as rooms being of a substantial size all are provided with telephone and television points for the use of  residents  whenever they wish. The majority of rooms have ensuite facilities as well as conveniently situated toilet and shower facilities nearby. There are ample power sockets in all rooms and good lighting and heating throughout.

The Home has attractive and substantial lounge /   dining rooms with open views of the surrounding countryside. All meals are prepared in the Home’s kitchen by its trained chefs and kitchen staff.

There is an ongoing programme of refurbishment and maintenance, which is designed to ensure that the Home is always properly maintained and reflects the appropriate ambiance for the Residents.
