
Wiltshire Residential Nursing Home
Goatacre Manor Care Centre is registered to provide nursing care for forty-eight male or female residents over the age of 65, but may also provide care for up to three people aged 18 - 65 with physical disabilities and up to 3 people requiring terminal care, within the overall number.
Care Home Accommodation
The Wiltshire based Residential Care Home has thirty-eight well appointed rooms of which thirty are generously sized single rooms and eight of which are exceptionally large companion rooms ideally suited to couples or those desiring some companionship in their room. The Residential Nursing Home provides a small ground floor flat with bedroom, sitting room and ensuite wet room with toilet and hand basin ideally suited for a couple to share.
The Care Home benefits from extensive and well-stocked gardens with picturesque views of the local Wiltshire downlands. Residents can enjoy, with assistance, use of the gardens at any time.
Care Home Facilities
As well as rooms being of a substantial size all are provided with telephone and television points and the option of internet access for the room's occupant. The great majority of rooms have ensuite toilet and hand washing facilities as well as toilet and shower facilities situated nearby. An increasing number of single rooms also provide ensuite shower facility. There are ample power sockets in all rooms and good lighting and heating throughout.
The Residential Care Home has attractive and substantial lounge / dining rooms with open views of the surrounding countryside. All meals are prepared in the home's kitchen by its cooks and kitchen staff.
There is an ongoing programme of refurbishment and maintenance to ensure that the fabric of the Home is always in good condition and reflects the appropriate ambiance for the residents.
